Vacancy: Public Health Design Engineer - 6 Months Contract

This company is an international Consultants practice with an excellent reputation for delivering innovative design solutions for worldwide projects. They are currently looking to recruit a Public Health Engineer for a 6-month contract based in the Middle East. Candidates must have experience of infrastructure services design and master plans.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for development and production of drawings/calculations/specification/ reports

Produce drawing list/calculation index/specification list/information required schedule

Agree design philosophy/design fundamentals

Review and comment on deliverables produced by Engineers & Technicians at key stages through a project

Demonstrates all round technical competence

Have knowledge of concept design, detailed design, construction techniques, procurement routes, risk assessment and claim assessment

Have knowledge of analytical concepts

Have knowledge of our delivery in CAD standards and 3D working Assist in the delivery of project and design information

Understand design philosophy and design fundamentals

Perform public health engineering design and analysis calculations using governing codes and standards

Provide drawing for own design and produce sketches to incorporate in drawings by Designers/Drafters

Use computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment for simulation purposes and prepare engineering design documents

Preparing project documents e.g. reports, specifications letters and design notes

Be familiar with the various design stages including but not limited to concept design, detailed design, construction techniques, procurement routes, risk assessment and claim assessment

Research in design options and document findings

Knowledge of delivery in CAD standards and 3D working
