Our client is an established Engineering Company based in Birmingham who design and manufacture refrigerated display cabinets, systems and cold store solutions for the retail sector. As part of their success, they are currently looking for a Senior Quality Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.
Managing a multi-skilled quality team providing support and guidance to the manufacturing operation of the business.
Lead and participate in containment, root cause and corrective action investigations on customer internal and supplier non-conformance.
Compile trend assessment and risk identification implementing appropriate remedial action.
Working closely with the supply chain, improvement teams, compliance manager and senior manufacturing representatives to develop systems that promote quality first time processes.

Compile trend assessment and risk identification and take appropriate remedial action.
Provide specialist expertise in the application and deployment of Quality tools and techniques within their represented area.
Manage and provide guidance to a multi-functional quality team through use of clear and defined objectives.
Provision of technical review and guidance on process development and Quality application within their specialist field.
Support the implementation and development of tools, techniques and validation methods to ensure Right First Time methodology.
Compile trend assessment, risk identification and manage appropriate remedial action where required.
Monitor operational performance in relation to compliance with regard to ISO9001 / 14001 accreditations.
Work with the relevant process owners to ensure all systems and procedures are fully aligned to the IMS.
Assist in the certification ensuring that the IMS comply with 3rd party accreditation bodies.
Perform periodic audits on company regulatory procedures and processes.
Working alongside the compliance manager, assist in both 14001 and 9001 audits within the business and identify areas of non-compliance.
Involvement in ongoing internal improvements projects within Company as defined by Senior Management.
Ensure duties are carried out in accordance with defined Company and regulatory quality standards.
Work closely with SQA engineers to ensure that supplier process / procedures conform to CRE policy.
Ensure that maintenance and upkeep of the IMS is current and relevant to latest business policy and procedures.
